Persistence, Hard Work, and Success!

It is with immense pleasure that we wish to announce exciting news about the Global Journal of Medical Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Update (GJMPBU). The journal has scored a significant improvement in its impact factor in the recently released Journal Citation Reports (JCRs) by Clarivate Analytics. The impact factor has improved from 0.4 to 1.1, thus recording 175% growth! This success of the journal has contributed toward the overall gross impact factor growth of Scientific Scholar, as we achieved a 402% overall raise! This is an unprecedented growth of our journal’s portfolio and we feel immensely satisfied with our collective efforts, which resulted in such a success. This milestone could not have been possible without the tireless efforts of our journal editors, reviewers, and especially our authors, who have enriched our journals across different clinical specialties with their top-notch content. As far as GJMPBU is concerned, the executive editor, Dr. Vipul Yagnik, deserves a special mention for the journal’s great achievement. He has been working diligently for the development of the journal since its inception. He has tirelessly supported the hard work of the journal’s editors, Dr. Okezie I. Aruoma and Dr. Arun Kumar Agnihotri in selecting and publishing outstanding content. Their collective effort has been further enhanced by the journal’s language editor, Dr. Trevor Ngorosha. Together, this team has formed and anchored a formidable editorial board with representation from different geographical locations and clinical specialties. Their tremendous work has resulted in the establishment of a strong double-blinded peer review process of the journal over the years, leading to the efficient selection of high-quality clinical content, growing viewership, readability, and the significant leap in Clarivate’s impact factor. As the publisher of the GJMPBU, we are not only proud to see the journal’s growth and impressive performance, but also take this success story as a source of motivation for several of our other journals, which are currently in the initial phases of their academic journey.

In the recent success of the GJMPBU as per the JCR report of Clarivate, our top cited article is Overview of antimicrobial resistance: An emerging silent pandemic,[1] followed by Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay versus chemiluminescent immunoassay: A general overview,[2] and Pankaj Garg: A community doctor to a master innovator to a global icon.[3] We are immensely thankful to the authors of these articles and all the other authors who have supported our journal over the years.

The journal continues to receive top-notch content, and our promise is to bring to our global audience clinical content addressing various disciplines. We cover various topics ranging from review articles discussing insulin sensitivity,[4] stem cell therapy in Parkinson’s disease,[5] advances in diagnosis and prognosis of early Alzheimer,[6] to original research articles addressing sensitive topics with both regional and global relevance, such as the impact of compliance and health literacy on the management of chronic diseases;[7] prevalence of anemia in Saudi Women;[8] maternal nutritional knowledge and nutritional outcomes for children from a developing country;[9] and assessment of the knowledge, attitude, and practices of community pharmacists in South India.[10] The global diversity of these articles truly reflects the name, theme, and the overall aim of the journal. Through GJMPBU, we aim to reach out to the vast biomedical fraternity of the world and enrich clinical and scientific minds with ever-changing information, developments, challenges, and possible clinical and biological solutions.

We wish to again thank all our authors for such engaging and outstanding content submitted to our journals and would like to encourage potential authors to explore GJMPBU and our other journals at www.scientificscholar.com/journals. Your decision to share your content with us gives us the opportunity to disseminate the evolving clinical content to the scientific community and also bring it to the global audience.
