This article1 has been retracted by the Journal of Clinical Pathology due to apparent peer review manipulation.

An individual contacted BMJ about this paper. BMJ investigated and found evidence that the peer review process was compromised. The two reviewers, recommended by the authors, used the same computer to submit their peer review comments as the submitting author used to submit the article to the journal. The authors were asked to respond to these concerns and provide an explanation, but did not engage with our investigation, which is against accepted publication ethics.
