Information and Guidance on the Adoption of Surgical Innovation and Technology in Urogynecology: Erratum

The authors of the AUGS Position Statement, “Information and Guidance on the Adoption of Surgical Innovation and Technology in Urogynecology,1” unintentionally omitted the citation of Dr. Geoffrey Cundiff and Dr. Renee Thakar’s 2020 Editorial2 in the list of references provided. This important Editorial covers Dr. Cundiff and Dr. Thakar’s joint AUGS-IUGA 2019 Presidential Address, which highlights the history and importance of innovation within the specialty and introduces a paradigm for assessing new technology and patient-centered innovation.
